I'm a 23-year-old male with a brief stint in youth ministry and cooking, currently employed at a Medical Center scheduling cancer patients. As far as food goes, I have a particular affection for Haute French Cuisine and Taco Bell.
I'm not in shape, but about 3 months ago I ran a 5k, and was slowly getting that way. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Ethics, and have always thought about the link between the way we treat our food, the way we treat others, and the way we treat ourselves. This venture into an intense change in my way of eating has not been a first. My first strange change was an apple fast for 3 days. My second was the lemon-cleanse for a week and a half.
My goals:
1. To prioritize my health by prioritizing my meals.
2. To lose weight.
3. To get in shape.
4. To respect each meal.
5. To be a better cook.
I look forward to this adventure, and also kind of dread it.
